Rainscreen cladding is a construction method designed to keep moisture away from the walls of a building. A rainscreen is a cladding that is separated from the substrate wall by use of furring boards or special fasteners. This separation creates an air cavity allowing any penetrating water to drain or evaporate away, rather than seeping into the structural walls, preventing mold and costly water damage.
Our patented siding system comes complete with everything needed to create a perfect wood rainscreen with a fastener-free appearance. That’s thanks to the Rainscreen Clip System, a proven, high-quality solution for constructing wood rainscreen walls. When you transition to soffits or interior walls you really don’t need a rainscreen system. We manufacture a T and G pattern that mimics the look of the rainscreen and goes up just like normal T and G over plywood or drywall over wood studs. Again – saves money and install time.
